Q: What color shoes do you wear to work on Tuesdays in China?
And what kind? Anyone have blue suede ones?
Blue flip/flops. I drag them along the ground to make sure I do not waste too much precious energy lifting my feet.

It varies. I might wear my Playboy hiking boots. They're dark brown (harder to see stains). But sometimes I wear either my white LiNing high tops, blue NoName high tops, or my old pair of white New Balance joggers.
I rarely wear my formal shoes because I walk a lot and they kill my feet. I'll buy more when I go home. Besides, the Playboys seem to be an acceptable substitute on formal occasions.
If anyone's interested, I could continue.

The New Balance shoes are so old, yet they won't die, so of course I can't trash them. The Playboys are not bad but I really need to bite the bullet and buy a pair of Cats (Caterpillar boots). Cats are, IMHO, the best or one of the best boots you can buy. And the name is cool - Caterpillar, a cute fuzzy little bug. Or Cats. Cats are cute fuzzy pets who all seem to hate me or confuse me with a scratching pole. I like cats, but I'm not sure the feeling is mutual. Anyway, I need a pair of Caterpillar boots.

yes i agree , a little pussy c*t has never hurt anyone and great for more than your feet. a good pair may help you find more.

Any pair of like Nike ''walking shoes'' etc have such thin soles, my feet hurt. I had runners, dress shoes, but if I was doing any walking, my hiking boots were the only things that did not make my feet hurt. But seeing as I usually wore shorts, I wore runners and got bad plantar fasciitis. No luck finding shoes in China, didn't in HK either.

Walking shoes? Are shoes made for anything else? I think this whole "walking shoes" thing is a farce. All the "walking shoes" are thin little slippers with no support of any kind. Seriously, can anyone walk two miles in those things? Maybe it's just me. My New Balances are low tops but ... they're New Balances. I can't imagine how much they cost here. Damn good shoes.
Maybe you should try high tops. They're not just for basketball. I have high arches so boots and high tops feel best.
Caterpillars? I don't know where to find them. I'm looking and asking. Taobao? But no, I don't trust the internet for shoes.
Five of the letters in the word Tuesday can be rearranged to spell the word "dusty," so I think dusty grey would be fine.

I usually wear brown or black loafers to class every day. Even on tuesday.
