My friend and I found a USB on the subway a couple of days ago. It was just sitting on the seat when we got in at Zhichunlu on line 13. We opened it up to see if we could find a name or telephone number and instead of finding one, we found about 800,000 names and telephone numbers - an excel database - all in Chinese. So we showed it to one of our Chinese friends and it turned out to be every primary secondary and high school student broken down by district, school name, and grade with the students name, parent's name, and phone number. There were also about 1,200 scans of university applications, but no owner info. Anyway, we copied all the data and turned the USB into the subway lost and found people. Who would be most interested in buy this database or how would make some $ with it legally?
You know what....
You actually gave some thought to that one. You tried to make it appealing and original. And despite I know you're going to get banned soon or later, I'm going to give you a thumb up for your hard work.
Here, you earned it.
Now screw off and don't come back.
I personally know the head of Guangdong Board of Education, the largest in China, I don't need your database.
You should just sit tight and wait for the original owner to come collect the copy you made. I somehow doubt the original owner would like their error to be in the public domain.

We already turned the USB into the Subway security people. Its the copy that we want to sell or rent or ?????
I found a database with the name and IP address of every troll who visits this site. I offered it (for free) to the Admin but it seems that they already know who the trolls are (*cough, cough* thelatinodancer for example* cough cough*). They're a little slow at reacting because, well, cats being cats.
In this situation, I would create a lot more sock puppet accounts and try to dumb-down your use of English so you don't read just like an oft-banned cretin with too much time on his hands and too few brain cells in his head.
The same friend from Mumbai?
No, you didn't. Stop lying.
Torino:
No this friend is not from Mumbai. What difference does it make where my friend is from?
As always in China, the law is a bit fuzzy. But as we know, it's fuzzy for a reason: it can be widely interpreted to suit any individual case.

So, China does have data protection laws. And as your list covers Beijing schools, I would say there is a good chance you have data on Government workers/ party members. In this case, I would say the fuzziness of Chinese law would act against you.
You just picked the wrong question to ask for your first foray onto this site dude. If you have the data you say you do then you would be classed as a spy (if you are foreign). Anyone daft enough to fall for this entrapment would deserve their 10 years in jail for stupidity.
Lol, there was a Chinese guy who was put in jail for emailing military magazine articles abroad. This was public domain stuff.

Think it's innocent information? Nope it's not.
