Q: Why do Chinese in other parts of the world avoid prc mainlanders like a plague?

https://qz.com/415098/8000-chinese-students-were-expelled-from-us-universities-last-year-mostly-for-cheating-and-bad-grades/

This article may give a clue. In the article the author posed the question, "weren't chinese known to be top students?"  Sure, many chinese students ie, authentic chinese without being baptized by communism nor committed cultural suicide, who are neither low lives nor thieves,  from HK, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia......etc. did live up to their reputation.  But, these days the rotten fakes are bringing such a bad reputation to the originals.

Wouldn't you do the same if you are an authentic chinese, ie avoid daluren like a plague?

Interesting.

Quote "But, these days the rotten fakes are bringing such a bad reputation to the originals."

As a European original, I sort of feel the same.

I have met Irish Americans in NY who have never been to Ireland, but insisted on lecturing me that I should donate to the cause. While I lived in the country he was paying to bomb. Look up NORAID.

I saw this today, on Fox news no less.

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2017/07/20/mayoral-candidate-tells-audience-me...

A dude, in Florida, telling  Americans to go back home to Africa. Great idea I suppose. If they still have their original immigration papers (receipts) that is.

Meanwhile, Europe is working to give aide, take people in, while the fake Europeans are saying the real Europeans are allowing their culture to be destroyed by immigration.

So the fake say the real are wrong.

The Mayflower was loaded with bigots we did not want. It's a pity so many consider them as role models

This cheating starts at primary school when you get a dumb kid, instead of failing and repeating a grade, the teacher who fails them in first grade is told the kid is not bad your a bad teacher. The teacher makes sure she never gives a grade below 80 percent to piss off any parents that don't want to be told their kid is dumb or slow. The teacher does what is necessary to get along and be promoted. The teacher in the next grade level repeats the same process, by the time they reach high school, every teacher has a pre-progammed lesson plans and tests and goes over the test questions exactly as written so that even the laziest student will get at least an 80. The gaokao test is made by the same teachers who have gone through this very system.

After the hell of the fake system, college students get a break, because their professors did not work hard either in chinese university unless they went abroad, but they go to the top schools that still have some credibility, not much, but some.

The funny thing is some poor students do excel, don't go abroad, but when they get the glory, high tail abroad for patents, money, and fame they can't get here and then China tries to buy them off to come back, the brain drain in reverse.

All this melodrama could be avoided but then you have to let people critically think and critically express themselves. We definitely can't have that happen.

Students are all smart, your just a bad teacher, not the students fault

people don't have evil and commit violent crimes, there just temporarily crazy, not their fault

These 2 premises will never allow China to be a respected developed nation.

Because abroad, they are Asians, not Chinese.

Because they don't want to be associated with the stigma of the Mainlanders... which is poor manners, loud, obnoxious... and only tolerated due to their money.

A:If you earned a Master's Degree in English Literature or a related subject, you can teach English legally in China even if you don't hold a passport from the usually accepted list of countries. The visa requirements clearly specifies this “loophole”.Nonetheless, I think this requirement is only for teaching English. If you are a licensed teacher of another discipline, such as Math or Physics, you don't need to be a native speaker, although most schools would rather hire a teacher from a country where English is the native language.Right now China’s borders are closed (does anyone have new information?), at least that’s what everyone is saying. China is probably only going to reopen the borders again once most of the population is vaccinated, and that might take a while. -- samvelasco87
