Q: Why doesn't every country have this policy?

https://www.yahoo.com/news/us-limit-visas-4-nations-wont-deportees-154228872.html

Immigration policies are full of hypocritical actions. America has to be lenient to Mexico, but if America had the same immigration law and policy as Mexico, America would be violated international human rights standards.

So you have some illegal Chinese citizens in your country and China want take them back, fine China, all government employees and family members will not get tourist visas or your kids student visa until you do take them.

I don't understand why every country does not do this, its the government leaders of a country that make the policy so they can deal with the consequences with out punishing the average citizen who wants his kid to get a visa.

The irony is that China wants the corrupt ones who stole a crapload of money from the government and escaped to their new mansion in Beverly Hills, but America doesn't want to deport them because they might get their human rights abused.

But, overstay your visa...nope China doesn't want them back.

I'm sure there is a tit for tat connection there somewhere.

Why can't a country specify who gets to visit that country when a beggar with a legally designated shelter that specifies his or her private use can say no to whoever he or she does not welcome?

If a country cannot do that what should it be called? A country without border (geographical). Yeah, right, utopia on earth.  LoL

Ok... let's actually look at this policy....

Someone does something that is illegal in another country, gets busted, tried, and sentenced to jail.

So... should they immediately be deported back to their home country?

Other questions arise ...such as, a) what if the person has dual-citizenship? Say, US/German, and they're in Berlin... which country should house them? (although, after a quick search, it turns out that Americans prefer staying in German prisons!) Should the second country reneg the citizenship? (again, not something that many countries would be happy with! How happy would Trump be if an American took dual-citizenship, did something really bad, and then got caught, and was being deported?... I'm sure this happens a lot more than we may think!)

B) What if they're convicted of something that's not illegal in their home country? Should the prisoner be forced to endure a sentence at home, for a non-crime?? (Saudi has laws about sex outside of marriage... how well can you see that going down in the US?)

C) Similarly, what about those human rights violations?? Doesn't that count for something?

D) what if they have family living nearby? (similar to a - but with a twist.)

E) Permanent Residency?

F) What if the leader of the country is a cockwomble, and pardon's the felon?

I'm not saying I'm completely against the idea... just saying it's probably not a simple black and white!

Just put them on a plane with a one way ticket. Use aiirforce one if its urgent.

And put the gitmo dudes on the same plane.

Send them to a place where they might actually get justice.

A:Going to HK would be the best bet I reckon, especially if you were looking for a church wedding. Chinese weddings are pretty grim IMO - you go to a barren govt dept with souless officials and navigate red tape so some guy can give you a red stamp and a marriage book. You get expensive pictures taken of you both posing in places you'd never go to in everyday life that is somehow supposed to represent your wedding, then a while later it's off to a restaurant where a game show host kind of guy makes sure it's as tacky as possible while the guests eat as fast as they can so they can leave as soon as they finish eating and gave you money. Hell, I'd go to Thailand or the Philippines and get married in Paradise.   -- Stiggs
