Q: Will the Listening part of the English test be discontinued in Goa Kao

The Education system is being reformed.  English is one of the subjects to get "reformed".  I have heard that the province of Shandong will axe the listening part leaving only reading and writing. Is this true? Do you think the rest of the country will follow suit?

Hi

In many provinces , the Listening part of English  is tested, but NOT added into the total score, unless this student wants to study English-related majors in universities.

So basically it has always been like an ear of someone who is unable to hear.

In a few years, English will be dropped completely from the GaoKao. I'm not going to go into the reasons, but things are slowly changing.
