Become a near-native speaker, I assume she means. Because being a non-native native speaker would be an impressive oxymoron.
I'm reminded of that brain disorder that damages people's speech center in the brain, making them sound like they have a Chinese accent. But even that is not actual native fluency.

iWolf:

Last weekend one of my wife's friends showed me a video of her son doing an oral english test with his (and i quote) "native american english speaking american foreign teacher". After 2 years of 2 classes per week at 400 rambos a pop, the 9 year old kid could say "i can see yellow" and little else.... She asked me whether her kid had a native accent. I told her honestly that his accent was better than his teacher, who sounds like a pardody of a KGB spy, but he does have an LA baseball cap. My point is, being a native speaker may mean different things to different people. To me a native speaking Chinese speaker would speak gibberish similar to CCTV1 news. A natural speaker would be able to communicate effectively in any situation. I think Victor from Vladivostok, Louisiana, is a natural speaker. Thick accent, crap teacher but communicates well enough to fool a Chinese woman who speaks English well into forking out top dollar for english lessons for a high functioning autistic kid.

I tried with teaching of such kid once in Fuk., Xinjiang on voluntary basis. Unforgettable ...

Hello Mary. You made an interesting post.

Two hours ago, you double posted your spam.

Now, as I log on in my drunken twilight, I see one of your spams has been deleted. But your spamy original question still stands. That is very telling.

It seems icniff if not doing his mod duty.

Unless he is the skype teacher of course Smile

icnif77:

Who's icniff? surprise

I am in Istanbul at the moment, overwhelmed ... One of the Schools in the city is working on me RP. I got date on 09/11 for sit-down with Internal coppery, and after that 1-year RP.

It will cost me around 150 EUR 'cause I am working part-time at several Schools and COs all over the city, so I must be fees payee.

I conduct private classes only in real life and fees collected after every class go straight to the Block-chaining .. 'cause it's low.  surprise

Will return to Guizhou Dentistry by the end of Aug. or so for continuation of remodelling me chew ... with 30-days-L-by-mail visa, he he.

What's wrong with this thread? OP is lassie looking toward conversion of all you laowais... After you're done with the Course, you'll became Native-Laowai ... O2, o2

I bet, you are the only 'taker' at this thread!

You shouldn't complain publicly anyway, but straight to Admin. Who wants to read about TOS and-o POS rules?

You know, I hate public discussion of posting rules. It fokin' never ends!

There are millions of people out here willing to help me with Chinese for free so they can practice their English with a foreigner, why would I pay for Chinese lessons?

A:Wow, you really found that nitpicky talking point that elevates the fossil fuel industry to the same level as the interests of humanity. Isn't it all just a "liberal" scam, if you don't look too closely at the absence of logic? "Yes, it must be. My masters are hinting that that's what I should believe!"

You've made it clear you are consciously ignoring the pollution and global warming. Since your handlers, the conservative establishment whose dismantling of the carbon credit system and environmental destruction you choose to ignore, have made it clear you should bark in this direction, you are eager to please!

Such an admirably domesticated, dependable, subservient human. I'm sure your handlers will throw you a bone while they bring home the bacon for themselves. You're so obedient, you deserve a doggie cookie! Who's a good boy? You are! Yes, you are. U-S-A! Woof woof woof! -- coineineagh
