Q: 'Wumao of the West', straight from Toronto's classrooms?
http://www.macleans.ca/news/canada/why-are-schools-brainwashing-our-chil...
'Last month, Toronto parents were incensed to learn that the Toronto District School Board web page promoting health education included a link to an organization that suggested kids explore their sexuality by experimenting with sex toys and vegetables. The board has since removed the link. Sometimes the social-justice push can just come off as old-fashioned political correctness: the Durham Board of Education in Ontario came under fire for discouraging the terms “wife” and “husband” in class in favour of the gender-neutral “spouse,” and the words “boyfriend” and “girlfriend” in favour of “partner.” And in the name of inclusiveness, some school boards include Wiccan holidays in their school calendars. But because there are no clear guidelines, things can also really go awry. In March, a U.K. school banned “best friends” because that made other kids feel left out. In May, a six-year-old boy in Denver was suspended for singing the pop anthem I’m Sexy and I Know It to a female classmate, violating the school’s sexual-harassment policy.'
Wow, that's what they are teaching those 10 years od kids in the classroom these days? So this is where those fanatical SJ warriors come from, the classroom? Pretty soon you can give out bachelor of social science degrees to grade school kids who really, really can 'think independently' !!!

I'm sure happy I went to school 50 years ago. Back then it was about team sports and learning how to make money cutting grass or shoveling snow. I didn't have to decide what sex I wanted to be. Nor did I have to decide if other religions were good or bad. Kids these days are doing way to much homework (in Canada). I have several nieces and nephews and grandkids who don't even have to go to PE class because some teacher thought it wasn't necessary. Kids these days aren't given the chance to be kids anymore. What we have now is a generation of obese kids who think like we did when we were kids. The big difference is politics and political correctness at a ripe age of 9 years old.

Yup, those were the days people EARN a living, through honest, morally upright means, and be respected by the majority for that. Today, everything has speeded up through technologies and gadgets like mobile phones, the internet, computers, high speed this, high speed that. While the advantages are undeniable in terms of convenience, it also encourages impatience, especially among the have-nots. To be fair, the rich-poor poverty gap also has expanded to new extremes. Maybe this is why their survival frightened parents are flogging those kids to do well academically.
The problem with these kids is on their EQ side, while they may understand on a mental level concepts of social justice, equality they lack experiences with human nature, especially the dark side of it. They are impressionable and thus can be brainwashed to become fanatics, used as a political tool. This is one reason Mao goes to the schools to solicit support in his power struggle with the then leftover intellectual class who sees through his handicaps and even the futility of communism.
I agree with you, those academically driven kids is living an unbalanced life, their healthy emotional development is hampered and this is going to costs them (and the society) dearly. Regardless of how long they end up living, what good is a life lived with next to nil happiness?
Well, if that's the way the civilised world is heading it pretty much confirms what I thought.
I'm not suited for society anymore. I should probably go live in a cave in the bush somewhere, grow a long beard and scream at helicopters and planes when they fly over.

Yup, better be called anti-social than dehumanised (see my explanation to 'shining'), unless, you are talking about a highy evolved state of consciouness where people are truly 'sex-less'. But then, you won't need to enforce superficial rules like that on such a group of beings.
Ok - now for the unpopular opinion - from someone who believes everyone deserves to be treated equally (until they've proven they don't deserve it) - and that includes the right to having their lifestyle seen as 'normal' or 'acceptable' (rather than just 'tolerated'....)
In trying to find something similar, I found... http://news.nationalpost.com/toronto/toronto-teacher-who-posted-graphic-safe-sex-posters-meant-for-gay-bars-back-in-the-classroom
Note the LAST PARAGRAPH.... "Mr. Mackey said parent input led to the posters in the classroom. A survey sent home at the beginning of the school year asked parents to list “hot topics” they hoped would be covered by their child’s education. Mr. Mackey said “high-risk behaviour,” like sex and drug use, was among the most popular responses."
(yeah, Mr Mackey.... )
Funnily enough - both conservatives (like the Christian Right) AND the SJW's were against this! However, I'm glad that the school board (and the parents) have the sense to bring up such topics... kids aren't stupid! They know stuff - as much as people try to suppress it!
As for the rest of your post... so what? AS for 'spouse' and 'partner' - I see no problem with that - as long as 'husband/wife' or 'boyfriend/girlfriend' aren't being 'banned' or actively discouraged.
The song... it's probably crap, so should be banned everywhere! But considering some of the other crap that poses as 'music' today, and the 'lyrics' there in... one area where censors should really step in!!!!

'If bf/gf....don't get banned'.....this is the current stand ie you can say to people 'this is my wife/spouse' !
The problem is, judging from the theme, this so-called equality theme, these 'unequally colored terms', bf/gf, husbsnd/wife...will be banned, and the SJWs would even push for legalisation of their chosen terms.
What is the problem with a couple addressing each other as spouse or partner if they are dating only, or, brother/sister only addressing each other as sibling? In the attempt to achieve equality this method wipes out the natural differences between the two sexes, it is like taking the colors off the color chart, allowing only one correct representation, so everybody dress only that color, as if that makes them all equal. Next thing they go for is take away names like Peter and Mary, because it has gender orientation, giving you a number instead.
Communism suffers the same idealistic issue, no calling Mr, Mrs, Miss....all call each other comrade. Now that nobody likes to be called comrade, you just call their name. This is highly disrespectful only a mere decades ago. In their quest for equality, these morons come up with naive, superficial methods ending up dehumanizing everyone in their group, yeah right, equal-robots, creating a prison filled with raging, depressed, psychotic zombies!
It is vital to have clarity here.
