I just had to share this with you guys. Recently I began using an online dating site (again), specifically aimed towards people living in Asia or who want to date someone in Asia. I was really bored, ok? It's quite common to get "I love you," "You're beautiful," and even a few "I want to marry you" within the first day. That's usually the worst of it. However, the other day I got a real gem. I kid you not, some older guy sent me this message:
"对不起，请惊人的夫人，
你想我作为你的个人奴隶吗？"
He is not the first man to send me a message in Chinese. I believe this comes from the fact that my location says China, and that my picture doesn't make me look especially Western (even though it says I'm Caucasian)? He's not even Asian...he lives in Europe. This strikes me as being somewhat bizarre. I can't help but laugh, and I'm not going to reply to him. I was just wondering if anybody has had a similar experience? Any funny stories?

i set up a profile in engl with my big shiny black face on the profile. my profile is in english.
short exchange with a girl. (i told her i am american and will use qq translation to talk to her.) added her to my qq , video chat and she immediately stops the feed after seeing me. sends me a message about how upset she is becoz she thought i was lieing. (in other words she was upset at ME becoz i was honest)

when I was first single after 16yrs a friend of mine told me to use the web as it was normal these days.
I talked to a few before one day I came accross a girl in a city in NZ
turned out the dateing company in China posted her profile there.
I thought this is a safe bet that I will never go to China so I started talking to her.
6yrs and 2 kids latter I get to wake up beside her every day.
