I remember that article. I asked some Chinese friends about it and they saved copies because it was "good advice". Kind of made me want to leave right then and there.

After reading that article (hopefully it's accurate), all I can say is - 'that's life'.
Like it or not, that's basically the way humanity operates.
The one thing I'm surprised it didn't say was "humans are like sheep" - very easy to lead. Indeed, humans WANT to be lead, want someone to tell them what's ok and what's not, what they they should do, what they shouldn't do. They want other people to take responsibility, and to take the blame (but, to parcel out the praise... which is how you really make friends - you take the blame, but give back the praise).
Now, before you all flame me... I said that's how this world operates... I NEVER said I think that's how I operate. Nor do I think it's the best way... it's not. Hopefully, humanity will realise this soon enough. Otherwise, all these farmers around the world will get a sudden shock when the soil no longer produces, and we all starve to death!
