Hi! My company wants to send me to it's subsidiary in China. As my related work experience won't be sufficient for getting Z visa and get employed by the subsidiary because it's a different position, is it possible to go there on F visa and be employed in my home country? It is 4 or 5-month-long stay.
thank you

If you are employed by your home compny, and never become an employee of the Chinese subsidiary, nor get any money as compensation from them, for a 4 to 5 months period you cn do it on an F (business) visa. Remember, the key here is to do work for the locl company for pay or not, so you must stress that you are an advisor only, and sometimes will help to train others. And a last advise, always remember that if you keep your mouth close, no bugs will enter it.
