by crimochina » Feb 26, 2012 23:57 pm in General    Replies 7 Views 2025

(i stole this from the ricky gervais show)

there are 2 identical doors guarded by 2 identical guards. 1 door leads to hell the other door leads to heaven. the guard guarding the door to hell always tells a lie. the guard to the door to heaven always tells the truth. you can ask 1 question only, to either guard. what question could you ask to determine which door leads where??

It's old,and obvious....
You kick them in the crotch, and while they're rolling around in agony, ask them if it hurts!

Never argue with fools or idiots - they will only bring you down to their level.

You ask either guard which door the other guard would tell them to go to for heaven (or hell).
Old riddle - Ricky Gervais stole it as well...

A kitty for them all.

The cat got it. But I thought you weren't supposed to know the liar and truth teller were in front of certain doors. Cause that just makes it easy enough to ask any question that you can prove is a lie or not to know what door to go through.
Then again every time I hear this riddle, all I can think about is the Labyrinth with David Bowie.
