Authorities are reportedly considering hiring a charter flight to deport a British killer who has been removed from two commercial flights for abusing passengers and crew and trying to urinate in an aisle.

News Ltd reports Keith David Herring, 66, was removed from a Thai Airways flight at Sydney Airport on Thursday after spitting at a crew member, vandalising a TV monitor, abusing passengers and trying to urinate in a passageway before take-off.

Aviation sources say he was taken off a Qantas flight a day earlier following similar behaviour.

Herring has been in Sydney's Villawood Detention Centre since his release from prison in June after 22 years for the murder of his wife Julieta at their Berowra Heights home in 1989.

The report says the Immigration Department could choose to hire a charter flight at a cost of up to $1 million or book out rows of seats on a commercial flight to isolate Herring for tens of thousands of dollars.

"The department is continuing to examine options for the removal of this client at the earliest opportunity and in the most cost-effective way. Misbehaviour in no way deters the department," a spokesman told News Ltd
