Got a couple of favorite books with me, the wary traveler... The first is in mint condition, a softcover, which could use some kind of cover to keep it in good form. Traveling on the subway with it stashed in a bag will most likely cause undue wear. After futilely trying to fit it with odd-sized notebook covers sold at stationery shops, I opine the book require a custom job. Question is, where to find the service?

The second, also a softcover, has seen its pages part from the binding glue. This one I'd lie rebound with sth. like a plastic spiral binding.

Maintenance-wise, a Kindle's looking good at this point... Otherwise, what places might handle the task of recovering, rebinding books in sin city? Thanks in advance.
