as much as I am on a downturn about this lengthy holiday celebration, it is pretty special to see more of the family together and to see just how happy they are. Not just to see each other, but just generally happy with life. It is a good thing to see, happy folks, enjoying happy times.

Recently I've been feeling more and more lucky to be married to such a wonderful person, and I love her very much. I think CNY has something to do with this. This woman is my family and I love to be with her.
That she's Chinese just goes to show generalizations and stereotypes (both of which I am guilty of...) are nonsense. Most of the time.
