Q: With 420000 jobs advertised why can't I get a job
I notice on your web site there are currently over 420000 jobs advertised in China for foreign teachers.
I have good teaching experience as a foreign teacher in China but still cannot get a job.
I am over 60 and I ask is this the reason for my unsuccessfull job aplications.

Sadly, being 60 or over is the problem....

Well... not really. I'm much younger, and I also haven’t received any responses on this website for about two years. No one even looks at my CVs when I apply, which makes me think many of the job offers might be fake. It just seems impossible—and I’ve never encountered a situation like this before.

Maybe, it wouldn't be bad to research job vacancy employer/school over the web and contact them through their email address, too.
That would clear many misunderstandings ...

Well, 60 and over is an issue.. As for your experience, maybe your CV doesn't warrant any responses.
Though we study English language, we get certificates, diplomas and even degrees from well-known universities. But, the current world belongs to NATIVE Speakers. That is why you are not getting job.

Hmmmm....Could it be age and color profiling to weed out what they do not want regardless of qualification and experience?
I think it depends, on case to case basis. Some factors could be that I came from a Non - Native English Speaking country. next is that maybe because of previous employments, another, the universities we've graduated from, the country where we came from.
i may got few resume views, but still, they're not enough for me to land an offer.
