I have had a 2 year before but seems was not giving the option for 5 year. Does anyone have one of these? I see on some visa web sites it seems to offer this.

I noticed it a few other places too. It says....
applicants can be granted by local Entry & Exit Department either a family visit visa that is valid for one year at most; or a residence permit that is valid for a minimum of 180 days and a maximum of 5 years. The residence permit does not have limits on the number of entry and exit as long as the permit is valid, which will greatly facilitate the travel of foreigners.

Interesting link. Previously it had been 2 years maximum. I read as much as possible about visa changes and had never seen this one. Thanks.
Send an email to this company. i have used them in the past. http://www.fbt-chinavisa.com.hk/

You can only get resident permits inside China so FB won't be able to help with this. I actually think the OP has misread something about 5- year working resident permits being available for some high level jobs.

You can get a 5 year family visa after renewing it 3 times.
The key is to stay and renew, stay and renew, then stay and renew again and one day you'll get a 5 year family visa.
For work visa's it depends on the city and how much your company is worth and make sure they make a contract for 5 years.

I think I should be able to next time I need a visa. Ill ask about it or maybe us a visa agent. I always do my own visa. I go through all the bullshit myself maybe an agent could get this easier than I could.
