Q: About war Movies?

Simple question really.

Why does the enemy always die easy?

In Chinese movies, the hero flicks his supernatural sword and 10 Japanese die.

In Western movies, the hero has non stop ammo in his suoernatural gun.

But if the heros pal dies, everything stops so the pal can do a speach.

Are war movies not just propaganda?

You do understand that movies aren't real? There aren't any magic rings (referring to LOTR the book) There aren't any boy wizards.

Here's the problem with ideologues whether they be lefties or righties, they refuse to consider all the facts. Movies are works of art just like paintings, music and books. They're not true to life. Stop trying to 'act' smarter because you actually show that you're not.

This post is a classic example of elitism.

Of course they are propaganda. ..if you keep pushing the same line more people believe it and don't bother about checking facts .
Every government and corporate does it...just some are more discreet than others lol

Casablanca is a great flick imo.  I thought the beginning is pretty funny when they decide to round up ‘suspicious characters’.  The one guy tries to run from the cops and bang!  they shoot him dead,,,    haha,,, talk about over-reacting!

Another good war movie is Sands of Iwo Jima.   Everyone should see that movie.  John Wayne was a bad-ass!

I think TV, movies etc in general are mostly propaganda. Actually maybe propaganda isn't the best word, maybe social engineering.

I don't know if it's intentional or not but it does dumb down the masses.

But all that aside, saving private Ryan was a brilliant flick.

"Because you can't get people to join the military and blindly do what their told if the reality were depicted... blood, screaming, stupidity, and the humanity of the enemy...

Remember - you and yours are always superior to them and theirs... can't have people thinking otherwise

ScotsAlan:

Yup. The US Army sponsored the national anthem.

A:You can still skin into China as a non-English native teacher by holding English Teaching license in your home country.2nd: Your BA degree should be completed in a native English country. Once, you fulfilled these 'parameters', you qualify for an English teaching job in China as a non-native English sneaker with Z - Entry/Working visa with Working and Residence permit later on. See the last 'Answers Highlight' ---> there is a web link posted about 'requirements for teaching English language in China as a non-English native passport holder'. https://www.gooverseas.com/blog/guide-teaching-english-china#paragraph-item-63614-target

*English proficiency: Passport from one of seven "native speaker" countries (US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and South Africa). If you aren’t a native speaker, you’ll need to be a certified teacher in your home country with proof of your English proficiency (e.g. IELTS or TOEFL). I'd say, Chinese will choose and look especially for a native English speaker at teaching of English Literature job openings. Posted job adverts for English Literature teaching are most likely from International Schools in China. Good luck! -- icnif77
