I got a BOC debit card.
There are 19 digits with no spacing between them across the front with no other numbers on the back.
Only other information is ZJ, which i presume means Zhejiang since I opened the account in Ningbo.
Does anyone know the formatting of this 19 digit code? Does it show my account number?
I looked online, bank account numbers in china are 12 digits.
Thanks!
So the 19 digits is the account number? NOT the card number?

How it does it I have no idea, but I also have one, and have made deposits to my savings account using the debit card, and they have indeed ended up in the right place. I also have made withdrawals with a teller by giving her my debit card, and it is deducted from my account.
The 19 digit code is your bank account number. The one that starts with "45..."
And you're right, the ZJ does stand for Zhejiang because mine has GD and that stands for Guangdong.
I checked my Construction Bank debit card as well and that also has a 19 digit account number.
