Last I heard China was counting on nuclear energy to replace the smog-vomitting factories around the country. Has the disaster in Japan changed that thinking in any way?
What's the status of nuclear energy in China?
I've heard they were trying to reduce it especially in Beijing. During the olympics they did a number of things to control the pollution one was keeping a certain amount of cars off the roads. Another was they were shutting down some of the nuclear plants to control the pollution. Since they both seemed to work I thought they were gonna try to do that same thing to control the pollution. And yes I do think the disaster in Japan and Russia had an impact on China somehow.
