Q: Aggression and gross generalizations towards China and Chinese people is completely acceptable here
This website is filled daily with cynical and gross generalizations about Chinese and Chinese people, aggressive comments of any kind against Chinese and China when there is clearly no need to do so, and yet those kind of comments are accepted by the dear Admin. But as soon as the wheel turns and FACTS are told about Westerners, everyone gets excited and calls for injustice. Is this how things will continue to work here?

Complaints about people in China, on average, not being exactly well-mannered => a metric tons of writing on the topic, spend one month in China and it will strike you. Take the bus for one week, and make a list of what you see that you never seen elsewhere.
Westernesr being all pedophiles => you point a few actual cases, and go on all white men being such.
So far, you keep flaming like an angry teenager. Even if your argument is just, the only thing which appears is "angry teenager". If you think people here are unfair, point out the flaws, gives examples, talk about your experience in China. It's not hard, especially if you're indeed right with lots of facts to support your point. It tends to get more respect and credits than throwing insults. No ?

I had Bank business today.
I traveled to CMB Urumqi by bus from Fukang, 40 km away .
I hold Gold China Merchants Bank account with Visa logo. I can use ATM card in China or abroad, with funds deducted from Rmb holdings on the account.
Foreign currency get exchanged on the daily 'spot exchange rate', or best exchange rate possible, doesn't matter where I make purchase. No extra fee!
I don't know any Western bank, which would give same benefits.
However, I cannot use ATM card for online purchases, either from Chinese or foreign websites.
CMBank manager made 5 purchases for me few months ago to complete my trip to EU. She was using her CMB Credit Card. I asked her, if I could get same CC, and she confirmed that I probably can be approved. She listed 7 documents I must submit for CC application. Beside all docs., I must receive my salary to the CMB account.
After 2 weeks of explanations at my School, I completed all requested documents, and give them to CMB.
Making School to change accounts for salary deposits was the hardest one. School refused two times, and after I told them, that will force me to change my employer at the end of the Contract, School complied, and changed salary deposits to CMB.
On my return from EU last month, Bank manager told me, I cannot get CC, because 'my residence zip code is not Urumqi zip code'.
She was aware all the time, I live in Fukang, and I'm not able to 'supply' Urumqi zip code.
Should I be upset for all this 3 months 'fishing in the swimming pool with no fish present'?
Manager is very beautiful 25Y old girl, so I hold my temper, but I feel very, very 'ben'!
I get some relieve, when I post my 'stupid' Chinese experience(s) on the Board. I opened few treads here about the same Bank, as soon as I discovered it in Dalian.
Beside, giving hard time to everybody at my school for all required documents, I had to travel to Urumqi at least 10 times, always during the week, when I have classes, and each time I must write 'request to be absent from the classes'.
Overall, I spent some three months, to find out I am not eligible for CC, because I live in Fukang.
Should I be upset for all this 'reaching to the R pocket (around my butt) with my L hand'?
Can I write positive posts about China from this experience? Why would I write untrue, negative posts about China on this Board? Why? Wouldn't be easier to just exit China?

If you come in from nowhere and start throwing rocks at people, then expect rocks to be thrown back at you. Haven't you heard that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction? Picture this as a forum of Zhejiangese complaining about Henan people and he wouldn't be so upset. Even if the same things were said and with a lot more anger I might add.

OMG how could you say that about the american suns, who tried their best. The problem with the suns is that goran dragic is a slovenian, and therefore thinks deviously and puts himself ahead of the team.
America invented the game of basketball and has a long history of basketball culture. To think that a slovenian could understand it is laughable. The suns are simply foolish to have trusted him.
