Q: All windowdressing? Any real improvements from the CCP?
I see a pattern where every complaint and deficiency in China gets addressed with an uplifting propaganda story, and no real change occurs.
Pollution problem? China suddenly becomes #1 investor in renewable energy. But still I don't see much change.
Education problem? Look, they're sending 60 maths teachers to the UK to improve standards there. So, there isn't an education problem.
Behaviour problem? Look at how badly behaved some foreigners are. So, there isn't a behaviour problem.
Human rights abuses? Look at how the USA something something yawn. So, there isn't a human rights problem here.
Wealth gap? Read these stories about higher incomes in China. So, there isn't a wealth gap problem.
Corruption? Other countries have corruption too, so there isn't a corruption problem.
And so on and so forth. I'm specifically looking for reports where the CCP is actively improving the SUBSTANCE and QUALITY of any aspect of this country, and not just overhyping its GOOD LOOKS...
If you took a couple of decades to bring a country's people down to such levels of apathy and retardation that anything you say or do will never be met with any sort of contradiction, wouldn't you want to enjoy it at some point?

Hurting your own people is an achievement? No wonder they need to outsource jobs to specialists here... I know they weren't creative to start with, but bullying the weak is like schoolyard level of intelligence.
Come on wumaos! It's an open invitation to post some evidence of quality, substantial improvement. Have you lost confidence in your own feel good stories?!

I like the guy who publicly said that Chinese farmers are living like they did 40 years ago. I guess 40 years ago they lived like they did 100 years ago. He only needs to also realize that the urbanites are merely villages stacked in concrete blocks rather than being spread out in villages.

I guess that counts as a quality improvement in Chinese diplomacy - not openly supporting your obviously wrong veto buddy.
