Q: "Allahu Akbar !!! " What would you do ?

You are out with your family in your city back home and you hear someone yell " Allahu Akbar." What would you do?
Nothing and go about your bussiness ? Go have a look ?
Grab your family and get the hell out of there?
It's happening more and more .
I can see someone thinking it's funny to do this and end up dead because people are starting to fight back.
So what would you do?

I think it is like going to an airport and jokingly mentioning the bomb in your baggage      just not a very bright thing to say or do ,

depending on proximity       flee       2-15 feet, attack and annihalate.

Interesting question. I don't know. Fight or flight is the most reasonable.

I open carry a Judge http://www.taurususa.com/product-details.cfm?id=199&category=Revolver at home so...  The judge would come out to dispense some judgement.

Stiggs:

Yeah that will stop a homicidal nutcase for sure, and good riddance to the focker.

Where I'm from it's very difficult to own a handgun, and carrying it around in public just isn't an option so if I was ever in that situation and I felt like being a hero that day it would probably be a matter of trying to smack him with whatever blunt object was closest.

Failing that, trying to get others out of harms way would be the best plan I think.

I'm not saying that I am a professional fighter or anything but I am pretty sure that I can stand my ground. If my daughter was with me then I would ensure her safety by fleeing but if I was on my own then I would certainly stand and fight. A terrorist terrorizes. One thing that I would not do it allow them to do and that is terrorize me. I'm a pretty peaceful person but if you take me on then I'm going to do the same.

As BHGAL said - it depends on distance, and what's actually going on...

As I walk past a Mosque, I'm unlikely to do much.

At a cafe, I'll look and see.

Going with what you're suggesting, if it's a knife or gun wielder will depend on circumstances. Knives and machetes are easy to disarm (with a chair, bag, whatever). Guns are harder (are they looking at me?)

If it's a suicide bomber - depends how close I am... there's a certain range where you can survive, but may not want to - and so getting closer would actually be better than getting further away.

Now - what would you do if you're at a school in the US and someone starts to open fire with their full auto (that they're not supposed to have)?

Fight back.  I'm old n' ugly with little to lose anymore.  Fight.

Maybe 5 years ago I had a couple meth-heads mugg me with knives one night in Ermita.  Scared me, and I remain scared the whole time, but I got my wits about me within the first 30 seconds I would say and actually talked them out of what they were trying to do (get my wallet and phone).  I talked calmly and some nonsense, can't really remember what anymore, but moved us up into the porch-light/doorway of the 7-11 and I think I gave the leader a few peso notes and I walked into the store.  Had small puncture wound, but very small.  So, I think I'm ready to fight back and die if that's the deal.  I'm not much physically, just below average 50sth white guy.  Not totally out of shape, but not in shape and never had any combat training stuff.  But I'd fight back to the best of my ability.  Terrorist suck and we all need to stand up to them the best we can.

I would shout 'If God wills'

Why does God want me to die?

Thats the question nobody is asking.

diverdude1:

au contraire mes ami, I have asked that queston a million times,,, or at least a variant thereof.  I always asked them,,, What 'God' tells you to murder innocent folk going about their daily life?  What 'God' tells you to crush a 6 year old girl under a 5 tonne lorry? What 'God' told you to explode the legs off young Lu Lingzi leaving her to bleed to death in shock and agony on a sidewalk in Boston?  Well, I have the answer for you- The 'God' they follow is Satan. Simple as that.  Islam is the cult of Lucifer.

hmmmm,,, I don't know why those links did that.   I seperated them before hitting submit.  I c/p the links from the address bar. Maybe because I use Mac o/s ?

anyway, if you have trouble finding info on murder victims of muslims, then you are less adept at using computers and the internet than even I am!

At comment c&p you should always enter '</p><p>' between the '9' and 2nd 'hhtp' (between the links) as:

It is a software divider between links. Before the first link sits 2nd half of divider (3 signs) i.e. 'new line' .... and 1st half (4 signs) as the 'end of the comment and again.

If that did not work. I might try the sorry word.

Sorry that my Government killed your family.

Sorry for the death and destruction.

I might even suggest a peace deal over a cup of tea. Agree on a framework of secular states being left alone, Theoretic states being allowed, but teens being allowed a period of choice.

A gun ban might work. An agreement. A good friday is possible.

Talk about an end to hostilities.

Shake his hand and talk.

You're a fucking idiot, yes your govt kills .... wait aren't you Scottish?  The bottomline is this, they're waging a war to retake the entire region, ISIS, look at what they're doing to their own people.

Yes western countries and Russia should stay out of the region and leave them isolated to sort their own shit.

Multiple Injuries Reported After Car Plows Into Central Melbourne Shoppers In "Deliberate Act"; Driver Arrested

"People are flying everywhere. We heard thump, thump. People are running everywhere."

icnif77:

A 32 year old Australian citizen of Afghan descent with a history of drug problems has been arrested in Melbourne, Australia after a white Suzuki SUV was driven into a crowd of downtown Christmas shoppers at around 4:40pm. Fourteen people were injured, some critically. "There was no attempt to brake, no attempt to swerve" said witness Jim Stoupas. The BBC reports one victim was a child of preschool-age with head injuries who was taken to Royal Children's hospital in serious condition.

Witness Chris Gath told The Age he saw 60 to 100 people crossing the intersection when a car travelling at up to 70km/h (43 MPH) headed for the crowd.

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
