Q: Any awards given exclusively to honour expats in China ?

awarding like best expat teacher, artist, chef, engineer, businessman, manager or such.

 

by any organisation. any level national, provincial etc.

In Jilin province they have annual foreign expert awards, where expats who are seen to be contributing to Jilin's development are recognized.

I don't think they do anything like the best... whatever, but they do have teachers, engineers, business people etc receiving awards.

Same as Stiggs' answer, but for Zhejiang/Hangzhou.

 

Remember last year that the government brought in new 'talent' visas with lots of bonuses.

BHGAL:

if they could somehow convince me to get wet and get in the creek....  I would show them how to make habitat for the fish and the frogs and for the creek itself....  but I am not getting in a creek here anywhere near a city.

I have been in taxis, in a couple of cities where after they Knew is was a Canadian, they mentioned Bethune

 

he is a fave of the Mao era and he is Canadian.
