Q: any baseball clubs or teams looking for new members
Baseball is not a sport that is very popular in China. So unfortunately there won't be many baseball clubs or teams looking for new members. If you really want to play baseball you can try to create your own team, but good luck on finding a field to play in. I haven't found one since I've lived here.
Wow, Mattie, you really need to pull your head out and look around. There are lots of baseball teams all over the place. Especially in Guangzhou.
Try looking at GZStuff.com for local teams. Guangzhou has teams for just about any sport from Rugby to Hailai.

Well, this being China, and not the US, then yes, by comparison it is not as popular. However, they do have professional teams and the CBL (Chinese Baseball League) that is growing every year.
