You should check out the hash house harriers in Suzhou. They actually have them all over the world and they're a really fun group who combine drinking, exercising and socializing. I'm not the biggest exercise freak in the world, but I do drag myself to some of their events because of the socializing involved. It's a great place to meet other expats.
