I am myself a foreigner and have made some contacts with manufacturers.
The problem is I have no experience in exporting from China and finding clients.
Anyone here I can kindly add on QQ or FB to get some insight into the industry?
Thanks.

It depends what market you are attacking , the export thing is a walk in the park but selling your product as I said depends what you are selling.
Basically there are 3 methods of purchase
1 X- works price and you arrange your own transport
2 FOB free on Board is where the factory freight your product to a port for export
3 CIF Cargo Insurance and Freight which is from the factory to your door in your country.
the more they do the more you pay.
then there is the quality control at the factory to worry about and some companies do not like you looking over their shoulder (Trust me , I not cheat you , I am Chinese Business man )
do not run before you can walk , so start with some small amounts of inexpensive products that you can off load easy at a market stall like Flash lights
or Buy on Ebay and sell on Craigslist till you get some more experience
Good luck with it

let me clarify, I am in China. I want to help exporting goods out of China to sell. I don't want to import from China.
philbravery:
I think you mean you do not want to import to China and yes I understand this is why I gave you the above advice , but if you want to become a shipping agent which is what your saying in this answer you are talking a whole different business and a whole new set of rules and things to know.
take a number.
but without connections in the country where you wanna it it is really hard to find clients.
I work for that for 8 years, you can send to me a PM with your QQ to add you

Hi there!
my email is faybilal@gmail.com you can send me an email with the details.
It's great that you made some contacts with manufacturers but you are not there yet. Before you place any order, ask the manufacturer if they have export license.
Before the export PLEASE keep very close contacts with the manufacture cuz you will need to check the quality of the items before they leave the factory. Only having contacts with manufactures is not enough. Try to be "friends" with them so they give you good quality. Bad quality means angry clients.
Regarding the export part: Always choose FOB so the manufacturer can deliver the goods for you at the port. Besides with FOB prices you can try to negotiate for lower item prices. (because it's export the manufacturer can get some refund back when he delivers to port so your item price can be lower too)
Btw if you dont have export license maybe you can start thinking about checking out a Trading company which can help you get the goods out of China. Sometimes the forwarder can appoint a trading company for you.
Do you already have a forwarder in mind? A logistic company which will assist you with the transport from China to your clients destination?
If not, get one cuz your forwarder will need to contact the manufacturer so they can agree with each other where to hand in the items to each other at the port.
Regarding finding clients: Do you have a target group in your mind? Who are in your mind your potential clients (normal ppl, companies)? Their location? Once you know this you can start searching on internet for their information and contact them step by step.
