Q: Any list on the web to see the general price of things so I don't get ripped off?

Is there a list anywhere on the web to see the current prices of things in China? Would be immensely helpful in not getting ripped off every time I go to the local market/fruitstands/etc.

Even simple things like pairs of Adidas sports shoes.

for bigger items or things you can check it on www.taobao.com shoes, clothes watches, pants, underwear computer items hard wares phones just type inside taobao you will have a general idea about the price and place as well.

normally in market  you ask from shop to shop do discounts with them if they say 300 you give them 70 later see the expression on their face if they come down from 300 hundred that's when you get the idea that you can bargain in it so continue in it, do not shop around in 1 shop keep on changing it. never trust Chinese in business.  do window shopping generally collect the prices in your mind so you will be having an idea of market and prices. for fruits big shopping malls like tesco, Rt mart, walmart, jusco, synomall, metro, are fiine
