Just because a job has the glorified headline of "MODEL" doesn't mean it will come with lights, cameras, glitz, and glam.  These over glorified headlines attract a lot of people to apply for the jobs.   However, many of these jobs are sort of designed to humiliate foreigners, for example, hiring somebody to dress up in a clown suit and market makeup to people on the street.  That's just bizarre, and pay for these odd ball jobs is usually less that what you'd make from 3 hours of teaching English.  Too troublesome to leave your city if you ask me.  They say "but you get to travel, too, though!" as if that is a perk, when in reality you only have time to do your job for a day or two then have to go back.

Not saying that is what you'll be doing, but those companies may pass your information to those types of jobs though.

I did photo shoots in SZ.  worked out fine.  never know until you try, but many of these companies are on the up-and-up.  They need laowai models. nothing devious going on....
