Q: Any school in Shanghai that provides English class for a little child?
I am looking for a school or kindergarten that can provide English class for my 1.5 year old child.
I would just need some classes for one morning per week where he can play and learn English with other kids for fun.

You can try new oriental shanghai, they are the biggest school for private lessons in Shanghai.

I doubt it though, I think 1.5 years is too young. I teach children classes and the youngest are 3 to 5 years old. Younger than that they have a hard time staying away from mommy ...
I would suggest a teacher/nanny coming to your home, You can search for someone on several shanghai expat pages (and this site, of course). Maybe you can find a private organized group this way as well, or start one ...

There is a lot choice, but very expencive, maybe from 200-500 RMB per time. Most teachers are Chinese. In places close to People Square, Huaihai Rd, Lujiazui... there is a lot foreign babies.
