For those of you who celebrate Thanksgiving, have you got any plans ? If so what are they ?
Me, I was totallly planning to do a big fuzion dinner with many of the traditional American favorites but a few Chinese dishes I like and know how to make. But I got an invitation to a fancy dinner so I'm going to go to that instead. What about you guys? Anyone having a turkey ???
I wish I could have turkey, but I have no oven anyway. I do want to invite some people over for a meal, though I don't know how to cook any Chinese food. I'd also like to make some boxes of mac and cheese I was saving. As long as I can hang out with friends, it's a good day.
Moving, so no cooking. Work the next day at 8 am, so no drinking. Live far from the city center, so no food in a nice restaurant. Friends all far away, so no hanging out with friends. No internet, so no comms with the family back home.

Yes. I've just downloaded something that touches on what Thanksgiving is and ten foods that go with it. It's pretty good.
I've also managed to arrange for a photocopy person to meet me at 12.50 and I'll print enough copies for both my special classes this afternoon.
See if we can have an interesting and interactive class on the strength of this.
But I'm betting interest will have waned before the 10' mark and as per usual I'll be hanging out to get home and knock the top off one.
Hmm...I'm only throwing it out there...but I might....O...what the hell....eat some turkey!
