Q: any truth to this rumor?
I just heard this from one of my colleauges today but seems far fetched.
Circulating on the social websites of China is that a "riot/protest" was staged outside of the Peoples Hall last night in retaliation of Bo Xi Lai and the rumor of the sacking and arrest of the head of police/security in China.
Can anyone back these claims as I live in Beijing and have seen nothing unusual today.
EDIT note: To clarify this is not regarding the former head of police of Chongqing who got arrested 2 weeks ago.

Having heard more about this from my wife I think that something is brewing up behind the scenes of power
The offical media no publishs the result of investigation. Common people still waiting for the truths and wouldn't let this go easily.
It revolves around the recent scandals in government under the table payments. They are going for throats, peoples families will die and it's something that should probably not be discussed unless your Chinese and even then, it's asking for trouble.
There is another one going around, confirmed or not I have no idea. It is said that now the word "Ferrari" is on the watch list, and can not access the Ferrari site. Why?.
It is said it is because of a traffic accident in which a man died here in China. According to the news abroad, well-heeled Chinese customers looking for information on the newest Ferrari seem to be out of luck: Chinese government censors have reportedly blocked the word "Ferrari" from online searches following a car accident with possible political consequences. According to the International Herald Tribune, one person was reported killed in a single-car crash involving a black Ferrari; two female passengers were reported injured as well, even though the Ferrari is a two-person car. However, the initial online reports of the wreck have been removed, and Beijing police have refused to comment -- prompting speculation that the deceased driver was the son of a high-ranking Communist official, which would lead to awkward questions about how a civil servant's kid could have quite that much money.
Thats correct, Bo Xi Lai owned a black ferrai, no statement as of yet. Which is why everyone is keeping quiet. The under the table market of the government is going to be under a burrage of fire quite soon
An add on to this, as the staff and myself have gone about our daily business, we had several clients from the government come in and request help with green cards and immigration to be done within the next six months.Mostly for spouses and children of the government. Although it's nothing unusal about this, the sudden increase at one given time appears to be because of what happened in Beijing
It's very true , and it's more complicated and troublesome than your imagination . I traced this on the websites which are blocked by our chinese government ,even found more secrets . i was shocked first and then became very worried . i cann't tell more details and only want to say : Politics is much more interesting than economics .
Believing our country leaders will handle this properly.
