Q: Any ugly foreign coworker stories?
I worked with this guy in Shenzhen, let's call him fat Bob.
Bob was from Bahstin and claimed he graduated from Hahvid 30 years ago. The dude was old, and had been working in China for 10 years.
In one year he:
-got caught at least 5 times brining hookers to his campus apartment. School was k-12
-got engaged to a hooker
-got his TV stolen because he couldn't pay one
-stole a kid's iphone at the gym
I used to work with ScotsAlan....both here and on the Isle of Man. He's a bit ugly.....does this count? (He'd say the same about me too!)

The isle of Man is a fantastic place coin. If I was to choose one place on earth for bringing up kids, it would be there. Scotland scores high too, but there is something about the isle of Man that just gives it more points. As for strange foreigners in China? I score high in that category. Not as strange as some of my mates, but stranger than most. But I don't think I have ever met a "normal" long term foreigner here. That's not because we are deadbeats or losers. It's not because we cant get women in our own countries. It's not because we can't get jobs in our own country. We are here because we are mad........ And ugly :)
Worked with this American couple who lived in the apartment next door to mine. At least once a week (sometimes more) there would be a screaming contest between the two about how one half of the couple hated China and wanted to go home. This made my working life miserable having to put up with the endless complaining and negativity. Oh! Worked with a over 65 Canadian Teacher in a school in Shenzhen who would show up regularly to work shit faced and yelling at the Chinese staff. Awful place to work. Other than those two everyone was pretty cool.

I met a Canadian guy who was very interested in girls and clubbing. He had a speech impediment and wasn't too handsome. He said he left Canada so his wife didn't have to give up her Chinese passport. So she is there and he is teaching in China. True love or true lust?
