Q: Any western in dalian to hang out?
I have been in Dalian for a while but most of my western friends went back home. Any western friend interested in drinking a beer these days?

Matty, dont you think your post would be more helpful if you were to tell him WHERE those "right places" are? It is rather obvious that he knows that is what he has to do, but does not know WHERE they may be?
JD's Bar, Hopscotch and Transformers are the busiest places for foreigners in Dalian.
You might also want to try Friends Bar, Brooklyn Bar, BoBo's or "Olive Garden". All of them normally have lots of foreigners.
You can also try Alice Bar. Lots of foreigners, but unless you are a Chinese person of the cute & female variety, I don't think you would have much luck there.
