Q: anybody know more about the Chinese uni proff caught in Aus for Rape?
My wife was reading a news item in chicken scratches about a uni professor charged with rape of a student in Melbourne
But went back to China after paying a hefty fine .
WTF was my reaction but remember this Para phrasing from my wife and you will never get a straight answer from a Chinese woman at any time .
Anybody got any more on this?

Phil - I read the report. He raped a tour guide. He's a political little wig in some province in China. The Aussie authorities will not deport him because China does not extradite its citizens to face charges and trials in other countries, thereby, as Aussie authorities fear, he would not return to Oz for trial and conviction, if proven guilty.
The man is still in Melbourne. Hefty bribes were offered to the Australian authorities, but they were refused.
Scandinavian:
I'd really like if the Aussi authorities could reveal who tried to bribe them.
If this dude http://howhigharexijinpingspantstoday.tumblr.com/ holds his words as high as his pants he would be interested in such people being outed
@red
So we still have him,? Great news for his victim , hope he gets long sentence .
As you can tell I hate violence against women
Red_Fox:
Yeah, me too, Phil. Not on. Violence and rape.
@ scando: The Australians allude to bribery without going into detail. But think about it. When in a pinch, what influential and/or wealthy Chinese citizen does not resort to bribery to pay for their crimes or sins? It happens all the time in a lawless society. But what about a society with laws that are enforced? It doesn't wash in a (comparatively) transparent legal system.
Wait you mean Aussies aren't putting this on the front page of every paper , leading with this in the news? Aussies aren't screaming for all "foreigners" to be punished?
Interesting enough to google a bit and here's some of what I found.

There's talk of 'digital rape'. Now what's that supposed to be? He only used his fingers?
ambivalentmace:
i guess if your package is small, fingers work better, or he has been watching japanese porn sites, funny how china does not block porn from japan but everywhere else they do a good job.
