Q: Anyone else have trouble making paragraphs?
I've got a Samsung Galaxy S3 and that's all I use to post on here. Problem is it doesn't recognize the order to make paragraphs when I post comments. Questions and answers, no problem, but comments appear fine as I write them, then come out as one big ugly chunk after I hit submit.
Does anyone else have this problem? Any solution available beyond switching phones or using a computer, because those aren't options right now.
Anyway, if there is, great, but if not I'm just gonna write the word paragraph in brackets. (PARAGRAPH) Like that.(PARAGRAPH) Just so's you nose. (PARAGRAPH) Cheers.
Yes - type in the html codes yourself.. ie, type in using the < & > commands.

Ok, I've been experimenting with this but having no luck. Do you mean type in those two symbols (<>) in place of a paragraph, because all I get is those two symbols looking something like an arsehole, which is kind of how I feel not knowing this shit. Haha. (PARAGRAAAAAAPH) Little more help?

for the following - replace [ with <, and replace [ with >...
for each paragraph, you'd start with [p] and you can even finish with [/p]. - NOTE: they NEED to be in pairs - a p & a /p
The significance of doing that is for multiple line-breaks... so [p] [/p] [p]
[/p] would give you 2 lines.
You can even do italics, bold, underline the same way - using i, b and u (instead of p - p for paragraph, obviously). for Italics, bold, etc, the [i] goes where you want it to start (the beginiing of the word, phrase or paragraph) and the [/i] must be at the end. If you don't put them there - or miss something (eg, no slash / - then it won't work.
Hence why sometimes we'll write /s for 'end of sarcasm... or /rant.
I have a windows phone. Typing this answer on it now.
I had the same problem on my android phone.
Lets see... Three lines... Three paragraphs.

I bought my current one middle of last year. Could not get one in China at all. Even online. They were advertised, but out of stock. They laughed. The wife had to ask a friend in HK to buy one.... even then,,, the friend laughed.
ha ha. Even now, people still laugh at my phone when I pull it out. But the maps work.

i also have this problem on my phone and in certain desktop browsers. It seems to be connected to rich-text. I have to disable rich-text in my browser in order to comment.
I am afraid changing phone will not help as long as you stay with Android.

Not quite sure (PARAGRAPH) will help much in the block of text ...

yep, I had this issue the other day posting from a MacBook Air running OS X 10.11.3 Safari. I don't know how to resolve it and barely tried. But I do know what caused it and what the trouble is- computers suck! didn't u guys see the Boston Dynamics robot the other day? the one that is about 90% sentient now; the one that they are teaching to hate the Humanoid. well,, robots and computers are darn near the same thing.

@bach,,,, haha,, cracked me up :p also a helluva composer... a little stringent sometimes,,, but that has it's place too.... give me an Italian at the end of the day... Vivaldi suits me a lot of the time.
My problems on android and windows laptop have always been similar. I see others making paragraphs in comments, but i've never been able to do it.

Rich text makes typing impossible. The keyboard lags and letters get jumbled.
