Q: Anyone ever failed to pass a probation period at a school?

If so, what did you have to do in terms of your visa etc?

If a probation period is for 3 months, can a school let you go at any point during that time, without warning, or do they have to wait until the end of the 3 months. What about salary -can they dock your pay if they think you're not up to scratch?

I'm answering this in hope that you are not a troll. In recent days, there were many crackheads asking the same question repeatedly using different names.

Your school cannot cancel your visa. They can only cancel your RP and FEC. In any case,  you need to go back to your contract and see what the terms are. I think 3 months is a long time for probation, even then you should be paid accordingly each month. Under normal circumstances, you can be terminated without notice during probation but I've yet to see anyone doing so bad that termination was warranted.

If you read your contract the probation period is really meant to scare you.  It is always in favor of the recruiter. There is never anything you can do if the recruiter breaches the contract in within the probation period.  The probation periods also are not consistent with SAFEA.  My probation period is 60 days.  I failed my school during this probation period. It is really too bad many people who come here to teach end up with scammers who are only interested in profiteering from their own people. And then the Chinese wonder why foreigners complain.  This is how the scam works: Recruiter promises you bonus and airfare with monthly salary but a 2 or 3 month probation period. They breach the contract somewhere or somehow and make life difficult for you. So you quit.

The recruiter dosen't pay you the salary or airfare even if they breached the contract. You go to SAFEA. SAFEA warns the recruiter. So what. You have already gone home and the recruiter has not only hired another unsuspecting  FT but have collected the 20,000 rmb from the school.  I call that good business. a 19,000  rmb profit!
