Q: Anyone had police knocking on their door yet after the new visa rules took place?

I'm fully legal so I'm fine, I was just wondering if it's gonna be as serious as it sounds. Last year in Beijing there was that 100 day crackdown that supposedly saw police check foreigners at work and at home for the rigth documents. Has this happened to you yet since July 1?

No, I've never seen a police man stop anybody so far. I've never seen that happen period let alone at your home or at the workplace.

He he, I said: "home'!

He he, you aren't a foreigner with a visa, so why would anyone check you?

I think the police know many foreigners by sight and who they are, so they wouldn't check everyone. People on the street seem to know who I am and where I live which is kind of creepy. I think they would profile.
