Q: Anyone have any original Christmas gift ideas?
I've already bought tea, tea pots, silk, handicrafts, porcelain etc...I've pretty much bought all the generic traditional Chinese things most tourists pick up here. I need some new ideas but I am drawing a blank. Help!
You know the little bottles that are painted on the inside... you can have any picture painted in them. Have a Christmas image painted and add the red eternity knot to the top and you have a one of a kind Christmas ornament. Personalize them with a little message or someone's name and you've done the Christmas shopping for every member of the family.

If I told you they wouldn't be original, would they? You have been in China too long, think of your own original ideas.
I would get some custom-made things made like shirts, bags, sunglasses etc.Or take a nice photo of yourself, have it framed and give it to loved ones.
