Q: Anyone here familiar with Jordan Peterson?

He's a Canadian professor who does lectures and so. I think he one of the most reasonable, knowledgeable people I ever heard. If you are a decent conservative, you would like this guy. check him out on youtube, he's pretty good.

Do you like the guy? don't like him? Think he is right /wrong?

What's this got to do with China on a China forum site that are designed for topics about China or Asia itself? Mmm?

He's actually a bit interesting. Sort of like George Carlin without being funny. I saw a video of his where he was (rightly so) railing about a law where if you use a pronoun for someone and they don't like it, it is a human roghts violation. I also agree with him that certain elements of society are creating a generation of soft, whingers who go out of their way to be offended by any and everything.

He's certainly clever but i get a feeling that he's "playing the crowd" a bit which probably doesn't hurt book sales and appearance fees one bit. Perhaps i should read some of his books to judge more fairly. Something else on my Kindle wishlist.

He is great, have a whole collection of his videos off of you tube, one day I will sort them by topic and make a torrent of all of them.

It's nice to know that Canada has some intelligent professors that are not playing the victim card. My bias against Humanities as actual knowledge needed for the workplace has been shattered by this guy.

Yeah, he's one of those guys hes a bit bland but super intelligent and knowledgeable on the topics he covers. . Lots of youtube videos about him. He play to the crowd a bit, but there are enough people that agree with him that makes his audience, no one is forced to listen. I never read the book either but i have along flight in a couple weeks I might read it then,

This guy might run for prime minister too. I'd vote for him....for the sake of mankind...oppps i mean "peoplekind" got to be more inclusive right??Oh, and mother and father is also discriminatory, its parent 1 and parent 2. thats the kind of shit that happens when you elect a SJW rich boy drama teacher to run a country.

the real estate bubble crash is going to kill this drama teacher soon enough, it's going to be a hell of a show. The videos on you tube about the coming Canadian crash are more than 911 conspiracy posts, not a good sign, where there is smoke, etc.

I've seen some of his videos. I generally agree with him but his presentation style isn't very appealing.

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is 'Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer; 2. Employer applies for an Invitation letter; 3. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
