Q: Anyone here sign up for weekly organic vegetable boxes in China?

I met a few people who get organic vegetable boxes delivered to their homes each week from farms outside Beijing. I looked into it and realized that many major cities offer a similar thing? It sounds great but they cost quite a lot. Not sure if it's worth it for one person.

How can you make sure they're real organics and not just second/third choice (if they look bad they're supposed to be more natural, this is what they say, right?) sold for a premium price?

even back home i am skeptical about 'organic' claims in supermarkets. Unless i know the farmer directly there is no guarentee the produce is organic. And remember what country you are in before you pay over the odds for the vegetables that claim to be 'organic' .....
