Q: Anyone here tried Bikram yoga?

Obviously, since I live in Beijing, any outdoor activity is impossible. Just today the AQI is at 420. So I was thinking of starting Bikram yoga classes, which is yoga done in a very warm room (40 degrees Celsius I think).

Has anyone tried this? Does it work? Any suggestions on where to find this in Beijing?

Bikram Yoga is a system of yoga that Bikram Choudhury synthesized from traditional "hatha" yoga techniques and popularized beginning in the early 1970s. Bikram's classes run exactly 90 minutes and consist of a set series of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises. Bikram Yoga is ideally practiced in a room heated to 105 °F (40.6 °C) with a humidity of 40%, and is the most popular form of a series of yoga poses done in a heated room, accordingb to Wilkpedia.

My GF is heavily into yoga, and she is already teaching me breathing excercises. I questioned her about this technique, she told me it is very hard to do at home because it reuires a room wiuth controlled temperature and humidity, plus special mirrows and mats. She said that whenever she can get into a saloon having these controlled room, she will do them gladly, because the extra heat makes the body sweat more and release more toxins. I myself have not been expose to it yet, but I feel will be soon because of my asking.
