Q: Anyone know of any China based conspiracy theories?
I love a juicy conspiracy theory, be it Operation Himmler or the Gulf of Tonkin incident (both confirmed true), Kennedy or 9/11 (neither confirmed but so bleeding obvious they may as well be), Oklahoma, 7/7 or the death of Lady Diana (don't know much about these, but enough to pique my interest), fake moon landings or shape shifting lizard people that secretly rule the world (what an enormous and fantastic load of absolute bollocks), there are a tonne of them out there; most of them nonsense maybe, but if there's not a big enough grain of truth to make them interesting, there's at least a large enough chunk of bullshit to make them amusing.
But what of China's? Someone must have heard some feasible, absurd or simply hilarious China based stories of this kind circulating somewhere along the myriad lines and tunnels of the intercybersuperwebnetspacehighway.
Asian people are alien hybrids! And the crash site is a military base in Tibet!
The Chinese military is covertly committing genocide against indigenous caucasians in Xinjiang province. A city of 200,000 was wiped out about 5 years ago, and the international community did nothing.
The new Dalai Lama incarnation inaugurated by the CCP is in fact an imposter, and does not really have the soul of the Dalai Lama currently residing in India!
All foreigners.are not really covert agents attempting to subvert China with seditious thought, and it is in fact the CCP that widely encourages hostile subversion practices in foreign nations.
Designs, technologies, inventions and other intellectual property present in China was not stolen, but rather they simultaneously and separately formed in the minds of Chinese masterminds and institutions abroad around the same time. The Chinese just happened to be slightly later every time.
Naturally, I only believe the alien hybrid theory is believable. I look forward to seeing my sons unlock their hidden alien powers. I'm rooting for spontaneous time travel and invisibility. Hopefully it's not the version where their life flashes by before they realize, or the girls don't see them.
actually my students believe that america has aliens from area 51, and the reason our technology and computers are so advanced is not our national intelligence but help from outsiders from other planets.
i have actually heard this from middle school, high school and college students, would love to know who started this story, perhaps a rational way to not feel guilty about stealing inventions, well they did not invent it anyway, so it doesnt matter if we steal it.
