What type of job does this friend want to do?
51job.com is normally my first advice. Many Chinese companies post openings there before turning towards headhunters.

Headhunters help the companies find candidates, so even if your friend send them a resume there is no 100% chance that they will definitely have a position available for him.

I have contact with a couple of headhunters, message me if you're serious.

A long time ago I worked with a guy from the Philippines, he told me some islands have headhunters and that there were still Japanese soldiers running around that had never surrendered. I'd like to check it out someday, sounds like an exciting vacation.

O, not that kind of head hunter?

Beware of Michael Page - they post a bunch of phony job openings just to collect resumes and then try to get you to sign an exclusive contract with them.  They are super slick.

I wish more people would help out on this topic. There does seem to be a shortage of executive search firms.
