Q: Anyone know a handyman in Beijing?

Mine is utter crap, is either unable to repair, overcharges and constantly stinks my apartment up.

Anyone know where I could find a handyman - a number, or page, or company?

You could have called Jackie Chan before he started training Will Smith's son.

I was a handy man before and helped out people with their plumbing etc., They do overcharge for no reason. It's just the way they do business here sometimes. It's hard to find good help these days. Depending on what it was if I could fix it I would. I worked with mechanics, plumbers, and people who worked on landscape. We use to always help each other out without someone having to ask. Try searching on the internet or try putting an ad out there for a handyman. Let them find you instead of you finding them.

Crap is good when it comes to handymen here.  Some will replace important parts of your home (like gas and electricity) with dodgy knock-offs that are overpriced and guaranteed to fail.  And others go way beyond that.  Sometimes they try and pressure you into buying some rubbish of theirs or selling your good stuff to them at ridiculous low prices.  Obviously you can't put up with that but I've known people have to call the police to get rid of a handyman before.  If any girls are reading this don't deal with these idiots on your own - make sure a neighbour, friend, or whatever has your back in case you get one of these criminal tw*ts.
