Twins/Triplets/Etclets aside.
I don't see very many foreigner-Chinese combos where they have more than one child. Everyone seems to stop at one.
Why is this?

I heard that the fines are pretty heavy for having more than one kid. Does that apply to foreigners with Chinese wives as well? Also, most women here have been indoctrinated with the idea of having one kid only. Very soon, China will go into negative population growth.
Hulk:
China's population growth is unsustainable. 1.5 or children per women. Outside of 2.11, you can't replace/sustain the population.
Apparently no nation recovers after dipping below 1.6.
Japan, Hong Kong, Russia and Mainland China are all dying countries.

Also, foreigners are exempt from the family planning polices, I think.
As long as your kids are registered as citizens of the non-Chinese parent, couples can have as many kids as they like without any taxes (aside from visa fees).
Wife and I want to have a daughter in addition to our twin boys but not in China. Nothing to do with the one emperor policy, but because of the unstable atmosphere in China (and I don't mean pollution!)
No. Can only have one Chinese one without paying the fine.
One is enough... at the moment.
Two sounds good, growing-up with a sibling teaches a lot about personal responsibility, sharing, etc. Also, the brother/sister bond is very strong, I think that can be a good drive when you are in hard times. A single child, sounds a bit gloomy to me.
