Q: Anyone tried couchsurfing in China?

I aim to travel around a bit more but don't feel like spending too much money. Anyone tried couchsurfing in China and have feedback?

Met loads of hosts here, and people travelling through. Seems to be just as much fun as anywhere else in the world. Really recommend it. I'm not on it but hosted a friend's surfer when it turned out he couldn't -- made an awesome friend in the process.

I wanted to join the group but it needs credit card to pay and i don't use any. Well the cost is not much to join but I am too lazy to make online banking in China. As I work at CAS, my bank once told that it is possible to make credit card but still didn't make it.
Otherwise I could provide even a room, not only couch. I live in a two bed room apartment and one room i just use it to throw tv and clothes....Anyone interested to visit Guiyang, welcome to contact and save some bucks....

I didn't join couch surfing til I came to China. I have hosted three times. A Chinese guy, a guy from Peru and a couple from Russia. No problems at all and it's a great way to meet people.

Watching TV and jacking off is the best way to help the time go by.
