Q: Anything censored from the new Star Trek movie?

I really want to see it though am afraid it's had bits cut out or added in. I heard about the censorship on 007 and Iron Man 3 and refuse to see them because of this.

I made the mistake of seeing Ironman 3 and it was terrible in and of itself. The "added footage" only added to my disgust.

It is easily the worst movie I have seen in a long time (and I loved IM 1 and 2).

As such, I am hesitant as well regarding Star Trek. I am a die hard fan of ALL the franchises/spinoffs, etc. and as such I fear way too much that scenes will be added (or worse: deleted!)/

Scandinavian:

Adding scenes might be worse than deleting. IM3 could easily have had the opening scene cut a but so Tony Stark does not bump into that doctor and the end could have had him just narrating while holding hands with Pepper saying "Oh, and I got my heart fixed as well"

GuilinRaf:

I have been thinking of possible added scenes for Star Trek:

- Lt Sulu bemoans the way Japan treated China "centuries ago".

- The USS Enterprise was made in China.

- Spock laments that Vulcan history is shorter than Chinese....

- Dr McCoy using TCM

GR - they could have it that Standard (language) isn't English, but is in fact, Chinese!

btw, Enterprise can't be built in China - it was either in Ohio, or in a spaceport... although, the spaceport could have been built by the Chinese.

Now, as for who developed the technology.....

Easy!

You-Know-Who stole it from the Vulcans, who ALMOST decided to chuck logic out the spaceport when they heard "mei ban fa"....

I watched that movie last week. It didn't seem like anything was deleted, but of course the nude scenes were nothing like Django. I've seen that too.

Star Trek was a decent movie. Spock fights the bad guy in the end which was easily one of the best fight scenes of the entire movie. I won't tell you anything else beyond that.

There should be more sex scenes, particularly with the aliens. Just curious, that's all...

If you want to see Spock and Kirk hold hands and cry, this is your movie !

It doesn't seem to have been destroyed by the censors, and the parts where they speak Klingon has subtitles in English in the one I saw

www.thepromobay.co.uk It is the pirate bay. I got Iron Man 3 uncensored and dvd quality, also Star Trek Into Darkness, a little scatty for the first ten mins or so, then it clears up and is a good watch.

A:No, it's not allowed to work under RP at 2nd job! I'd say, Z visa/RP sponsor can have an objections to your part-time job. I did the same at my English teaching in China and elsewhere, butT ... I casually mentioned at my prime job, some kindergarten or another school asked me to work with them part-time. Then, my Q: "Is that permitted?" ...  Answer from RP sponsor was always "Yes, but you can't be late or miss the classes at our school ..." with my reply: "No, our work schedule has a priority, and I'll arrange classes at kindergarten only in my free time." When I cleared that, I was undertaking any extra teaching hours at other schools and private students in my free time.Sometimes, teachers at my prime job asked me if I'm willing to have some extra classes elsewhere.I accepted after the talk with School's principal. I suggest, you test the felling at your Z/RP sponsor and once you see they don't object, you can work at 2nd job. Keeping your 2nd job as a secret from your employer won't work, 'cause you're laowai and Chinese know exactly what you do in your free time. However, despite your employer's agreement for extra work, you are still in violation of Chinese Labour law, and even if your sponsor agrees to your extra work, you can still get in trouble, because it's clearly written (somewhere ... ) that under Z/WP, one can work only at the Z-sponsor and nowhere else. Penalties ... I'd say, there won't be any warnings and you'll be required to exit China in short Exit time.It never happened to me, so I can't really advice how is when manure hits the fan ...  -- icnif77
