Q: Are any dna tests ever done for Chinese instant beef noodles?
With the horsemeat scandal spreading throughout Europe, one has to wonder about the meat industry here. It;'s a very scarey thought actually, but I'm sure there must be greater meat testing and accountability in Europe than China yet ever there consumers are completely scammed and lied to. It must be a million times worst in China so I shudder to think what meat goes into instant beef noodles and the like (ugh!). Do officials ever even test such products?

China is famous for a few things, one is food scandals, so I doubt the fake Quality Control people check anything. But if you wanted you could test it. Any DNA laboratory could do it. Just count the chromosomes, cows have 60, Horses - 64, soylent green - 46.
I think I'd actually be relieved it I found out it was horse meat. God knows what it actually is.....
Doing chromosome counts on meat species would take the Chinese forever. They use calculators to add 30 yuan and 20 yuan in shops. Then do the calculation again to check they got it right first time!
haha there is basically no meat at all in the instant noodles.
By the way it's better to not eat those instant noodles often. They are junk food with too many chemicals.
