Q: Are child abductions still common in China?
Saw a heart-wrenching story about a family who were reunited with their son who had been abducted as a toddler after 20 years. The son didn;t even know he was adapted until his real parents found him. I wonder if it still happens a lot in this day and age in China. It's so sad. People who do that for a living are plain evil and deserve a life of mysery...
not common at all. show me the police reports!? you cant can you ?! if there is no police report than it did not happen. those women are delusional they never had children. passing out flyers hmph who do they think they are.

Yes kidnapping in China is common and it's on the rise. Check this out:

It's indeed very common. The children are often abducted to be sold. There is a market for that.
A couple of years ago, some mining companies used abducted children to work in the mines, until the scandal came out.
Women are also abducted in neighboring countries (mainly Vietnam and Myanmar) to be sold to Chinese farmers.
Sadly, but not really unexpectedly, there is still a healthy slave trade going on in the world :(
Every six months or so, they'll triumphantly announce that they've broken up a child slave ring involving hundreds of people. Gotta wonder how many of those there are....
So a few RMB for a stolen kid but 100K for a dog raping. WTF.
