Q: Are Chinese Boys Becoming More 'Girly'?
Men all over the world are becoming more girly, and women are becoming more masculine. I'm OK with, I like cross dressing.
I see a lot of dubious looking characters hanging around near the local hairdressers.
Not seen 'guys' like that since Singapore 2002.
Most of them smoke and drink (a lot) so I'd say, they are masculine enough. Desirable though...?

yep. but maybe the whole world is too.... androgyny. the 'bieberization' of the male. most boys here come across weak. but, can't blame them. society has not given them anything 'male' to do~ other than drink & smoke as stated by an earlier respondent. Need to take these boys out and have them go on a hiking/camping/hunting trip. and I don't mean the controlled, structured, arranged, guided kind. I mean get them out there and have them test their strength, balls, and wits against adversity. gentle at first, but starting somewhere....

Hahaha, this question's hillarious. Can't disagree but it really depends - hairdressers and media types are sooo girly. But ya dong bei bruisers fart, drink, and shout their way through life. So generally agree but with some caveats.
